About the First to 50 Miami University Middletown Digital Archive

Miami University Middletown opened for classes in the fall semester of 1966. It was the first regional university campus established in Ohio.

The First to 50 Miami University Middletown Digital Archive is a collection of images, text, audio, and video relating to the history of the campus. It was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the campus in 2016-2017. We continue to add more items to the digital archive as time allows.

Current information on the campus may be found on the Miami University Regionals site.

If you have questions or suggestions regarding the digital archive, please contact the Gardner-Harvey Library staff.
